This weekend is set up so that carriage drivers can school their horses prior to the competition season. Saturday everyone will have an assigned time in a regulation size Dressage ring, and free access to a Cones Course and the Marathon course, complete with Hazards. Sunday will be run as a Driving Trial with judged Dressage tests (same as will be used for our June CDE), Cones course, and a Section E Marathon Course. There will be no awards.

The organizers reserve the right to:
• alter the course, advertised times or officials if necessary
• refuse any entry
• require withdrawal of any entry (without refund) perceived to be a safety issue, or on the advice of the Veterinary Official and/or Judge
• use their discretion in matters not specified in the rules.
All participants are encouraged to school the marathon course and hazards on Saturday and/or walk the course on their own. There is no official course walk, so this is your opportunity to become familiar with the course prior to Sunday's "competition". If a participant has a question regarding specifics of the course he/she should call it to the attention of the Organizer. The Marathon course covers flat pasture and timber, may be bumpy, and includes water crossings.

Motorized vehicles: other than official vehicles, only electric vehicles are allowed on the marathon course. Exception: Prior to the event, competitors may request approval from the organizer for a gas-powered golf cart or specially adapted vehicle.

The Official Bulletin Board will be located near the show office.

If you must bring your dog, it is to be tied, and under control,
at all times.

No dogs are allowed in the barn or office.

Loose dog fine is $25 per dog per infraction.

Be sure your entry form is complete, as incomplete entries will be placed on the waiting list. Please include your e-mail address on the entry, if you have one, as that seems to be our most efficient means of communication.

First time drivers, or anyone having questions about the weekend, may contact Organizer/Event Secretary Maureen Harkcom at 360-978-5064 office, 360-978-4562 home or maureen@happs-inc.com
