Safety Check
Every turnout starts with a given number of points. Points are subtracted for unsafe, ill-fitting or missing harness, carriage or driver equipment. Get creative with what you might want to take and how you want it to look. Think safety and comfort. In this section, you can earn extra credit points for your excellent ideas.

Cross Country Drive
Each turnout starts with an even number of points, all the same. Points are subtracted for breaks of pace or for being over or under time. The idea is to pace yourself over the whole drive, not just make up the difference at the end. There is no "window" of allowed time. We'll help you calculate your target time if you like. Adventurers will be asked to cover the course at faster times than Tenderfoots.

Skills Drive
Again, each turnout starts out with a given number of points, all the same. Each skill test is scored separately. Points are deducted for dislodging an element, incorrectly completing an element, or skipping an element. For this particular TREC, this section will not be timed. Adventurers will be asked to complete more challenging skills tests than Tenderfoots.
