Biography

Terri Jones

Terri has been riding since she was 6 years old and has ridden competitively for 35+ years of her adult life. She has shown Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, Eventing and Driving. Terri has been a trainer and instructor of riding since 1983 and of driving since 1998.

Terri has competed in Combined Driving Events since 2001, her very first competition being the Happ's Driving Trails-Twice! She has competed up through the Intermediate level in Single, Pair and Tandem classes, competing with Miniatures, Ponies and Horses. Terri has driven with instructors including Muffy Seaton, Hardy Zantke, Marsoe LaRose and Tom Hilgenberg.

Terri's goal in teaching and coaching is to teach proper riding and driving method, safety, and understanding of the training scale so that riders and drivers develop confidence in themselves and their horses.
