Frances O'Reilly

Frances O'Reilly established Glendalough Farm West on Vashon Island in Washington in 1992. Prior to that she was owner, manager and trainer of the Glendalough Farm in Glover, Vermont. She has completed three levels of Dressage Instructor's Courses with Henrik Johansen and received jumping instruction from Olympic medalist Denny Emerson. She has developed instructional programs in Dressage and Combined Training for adults and juniors at their Glendalough Farm on Vashon Island.

Frances helped form Raccoon Valley Pony Club in the 1950s, received her "A" rating, and was an assistant instructor. Since then she has successfully raised and campaigned a number of horses and was selected as a candidate for the U.S. Olympic Team in dressage.

Frances has been a "Recognized" judge in Combined Training for several years. She has judged equestrian events and taught riding clinics in Alaska, Colorado, Vermont, California, Pennsylvania, Washington, Oregon, Michigan and Idaho.
