Bob was born in Germany and received his trainer certification in 1974 after completing a three year program. He received his instructor certification in 1976 after completing an additional two year program.
He and his wife, Alice, are located in Olympia, Washington where they own and operate the Edelweiss Training Center. Bob provides training and lessons for all breeds and all types of driving: show, pleasure, combined, etc. working from start to finish and all degrees in between.
Bob has experience training and showing singles and pairs and competes in Combined Driving at all levels. He competed a mule pair at the Mule World Championships in Bishop, CA. Bob's students compete in combined driving up to FEI level.
Bob is also a certified equine appraiser.
